What is a CFEA Community Partner?

CFEA Community Partners lead our community through philanthropy, volunteerism, and community engagement.

Community Partners share in our vision to be a vehicle for generosity to improve the quality of life in our community.

Our Community Partners invest in the Community Foundation’s work to build the capacity of our local nonprofits, convene local leaders to address our community’s most critical issues, and nurture a philanthropic spirit positively impacts a broad spectrum of issues in East Alabama.

Who can become a Community Partner?

Anyone!

Any individual, business, family, etc. can become a Community Partner by making a once-annually donation of $5,000 to the Community Foundation of East Alabama’s General Fund. This donation can be either endowed or non-endowed, per request of the donor. It is that easy!

  • At our Community Foundation, our grantmaking efforts are aimed at stimulating non-profit growth and development within East Alabama. In becoming a Community Partner of the CFEA, you will directly support these efforts to stimulate non-profit growth in East Alabama. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community where everyone can thrive. Your partnership will play a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for East Alabama.

  • We are committed to providing swift and effective assistance to those in urgent need during times of crisis. Your partnership will go directly to providing essential supplies, shelter, medical aid, or long-term recovery support. You will play a crucial role in helping affected individuals and communities rebuild their lives and regain their stability.

  • Ensuring that we have a healthy operating budget is vital in our efforts to run smoothly and efficiently. Your partnership will help to ensure that we have the necessary resources tosustain our day-to-day operations. By supporting our operating budget, you play an instrumental role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our mission. By becoming a Community Partner you will help to maximize our impact and will allow us to continue working throughout East Alabama.

First and foremost, you, as a Community Partner, have the opportunity to make a significant difference and to have a lasting impact on the future of East Alabama. Your donation will support the many nonprofit and philanthropic organizations that are working within our community.

  • Listing of business/organization featured on the Community Foundation website.

  • A CFEA Community Partner seal for your website and other promotional materials.

  • Company logo appears on Newsletters sent to our subscribers, including corporate and community leaders.

  • Company logo appears on Community Partner event materials, including our nonprofit seminars.

  • Recognition as a featured Community Partner on our social media channels.

  • Access to Community Foundation leadership for philanthropic consultation/presentations to your employees on topics related to charitable giving, corporate philanthropy, and the local nonprofits.
